Overview
The Wall Wrecker is the first Siege Machine unlocked in the Workshop, available as soon as the Workshop is built at Town Hall 12. It is a ground-based battering ram that charges directly toward the Town Hall, smashing through Walls and any buildings in its path with devastating force. At max level 6, it boasts 10,000 HP and 670 DPS, with a 10× damage multiplier against Walls — making it the ultimate wall-breaching tool in Clash of Clans. When it reaches the Town Hall (or is destroyed), it releases the Clan Castle troops stored inside. Like all Siege Machines, it is immune to player-placed spells.
The Wall Wrecker’s defining characteristic is its relentless Town Hall pathing — it will always push toward the Town Hall regardless of obstacles, ignoring the nearest-building AI of regular troops. This makes it predictable but incredibly reliable for breaching fortified cores. It deals area splash damage with each ram strike, hitting multiple buildings and Walls simultaneously within its attack radius. Unlike the Battle Blimp, the Wall Wrecker operates on the ground and triggers Giant Bombs and Spring Traps, so trap placement awareness is crucial. It can be buffed by the Grand Warden’s Life Gem and Eternal Tome equipment, giving it extra survivability during critical pushes.

⚔️ Attack Strategies
Bowler Core Delivery
Fill the Wall Wrecker with Bowlers (20–30 housing space worth). Deploy a Golem or
Ice Golem ahead of the Wrecker to soak single-target Inferno fire. When the Wrecker reaches the Town Hall or is destroyed, Bowlers are released deep in the core and devastate buildings with their bouncing boulders.
Balloon Kill Squad
Pack Balloons inside the Wall Wrecker alongside a Rage Spell and Freeze Spell. Once the Wrecker breaches the core and releases the troops, Rage the Balloons immediately. Combined with a Freeze Spell on the Inferno Tower or Eagle Artillery, the Balloons can snipe the Town Hall even in heavily defended cores.
Wall Wrecker + Queen Walk Hybrid
Use Archer Queen with Healers to clear one side of the base (eliminating Eagle Artillery and Scattershot). Deploy the Wall Wrecker from the opposite side once the Queen has cleared her lane. With reduced defensive fire, the Wrecker and its cargo troops reach the Town Hall with far greater HP remaining.
Grand Warden Buffer
Position Grand Warden walking alongside the Wall Wrecker. With Life Gem equipped, he passively heals the Wrecker every few seconds, extending its lifespan significantly. Activate Eternal Tome when the Wrecker enters the first layer of defenses to make it temporarily invincible and guarantee core penetration.
TH Off-Center Counter
When attacking bases with off-centered Town Halls, deploy the Wall Wrecker from the closest wall edge to the Town Hall. This minimizes the path it travels, reducing exposure to defenses. Use King or Champion to funnel it along the intended path if the base layout would otherwise reroute it through high-defense zones.
Super Witch Cargo
Load
Super Witches inside the Wall Wrecker. When released at the Town Hall, Super Witches summon Big Boys that tank nearby defenses while the Witches deal massive area damage. This combination is especially effective at TH14–16 where core defenses are densely packed.
🛡️ Defense Tips
Single-Target Inferno Towers at Entry Points
Position single-target Inferno Towers near the walls where Wall Wreckers are typically deployed. At max ramp-up, a single-target Inferno fires over 2,000 DPS — sufficient to burn through even a max Level 6 Wrecker before it reaches the core if placed correctly near entry lanes.
Off-Center Town Hall Placement
Placing the Town Hall off-center forces the Wall Wrecker to travel a longer, more diagonal path, exposing it to more defensive structures along the way. Combined with compartmentalized walls, the Wrecker must destroy more layers before reaching its target, draining its HP significantly.
Clan Castle Defense Troops
Place high-DPS Clan Castle troops (Witches, Electro Dragons, Super Archers) to intercept the Wall Wrecker once it breaches outer walls. Since the Wrecker slows down to attack buildings, defending troops can pour sustained damage on it while it’s stationary, dramatically reducing its HP before it reaches the Town Hall.
Trap the Release Zone
Place Giant Bombs, Spring Traps, and Bomb clusters near the Town Hall — where Wall Wrecker cargo troops will land. Even if the Wrecker reaches the Town Hall, well-placed traps can eliminate the Bowlers, Balloons, or other cargo troops the moment they are released, neutralizing the payload entirely.
🎯 Advanced Tips
Intentional Destruction Trigger
You can manually trigger the Wall Wrecker’s destruction by pressing the release button before it reaches the Town Hall. This allows you to deploy cargo troops (like Super Wizards or Valkyries) precisely at a compartment full of defenses, rather than waiting for the Town Hall. Use this to eliminate Eagle Artillery before it activates.
Wall Hit Count Reference
At Level 6, the Wall Wrecker only needs 2 hits to break through Level 12–16 Walls, and 3 hits for Level 17–18 Walls. For max TH16 Level 19 Walls, it requires 3 hits. Planning your deployment angle around the shortest path through fewest wall layers saves significant time and HP during the attack.
Air Troop Cargo Warning
Avoid loading air troops (Balloons, Dragons) into the Wall Wrecker if the enemy base has dense air trap clusters near the Town Hall. Since the Wrecker is a ground unit, it won’t trigger air traps itself — so when aerial cargo troops are released, they land directly into unsprung Seeking Air Mines and Air Bombs.
Log Launcher vs. Wall Wrecker
At higher Town Halls (TH15+), the Log Launcher often outperforms the Wall Wrecker due to its longer range and ability to destroy multiple defenses in a line. However, the Wall Wrecker remains superior for precise core penetration when you need cargo troops delivered directly to the Town Hall rather than along a lane.
