The Request Board is one of the most important things to check every single day in Fields of Mistria. It's your most consistent source of Tesserae and Town Renown throughout the whole game, from your first morning to the late-game Crown Request grind. Where Is the Request Board?
The Request Board is located in the southeast part of Mistria town, between the General Store and The Mill. Adeline introduces it to you on your very first visit to town during the opening quest "Greet the Townsfolk."
The Renown Rewards Chest sits right next to the board — so when you're there to check requests, grab any unclaimed level rewards at the same time.

Check the board every morning
Visit the Request Board daily — new requests are posted each day and rotate, so checking first thing prevents you missing one.
Check your mailbox too
Some quests arrive via your farm mailbox rather than the board. Check both every morning before heading out.
Accept the request
Interact with the board and accept the requests you want. There is no time limit once you've accepted.
Gather the item
Find or produce the requested item. Most ask for 1–3 things — a crop, fish, forageable, cooked dish or monster drop.
Turn it in
Place the item in the Donation Box (shown on your map), or speak directly to the requesting character. Collect your Tesserae and Renown reward.
All Quest Types
Crown Requests unlock at Renown 50 (Sapphire) and reward 75 Renown each — the best ratio in the game.
Fields of Mistria has four distinct quest types. They all involve the Request Board or your mailbox, but they work differently.
Regular Requests
Daily quests posted on the board by villagers. Usually 1–3 items brought to a character or donation box. Reward: Tesserae + Renown, sometimes a recipe or item.
Crown Requests
Special weekly requests available at Renown Level 50 (Sapphire). Harder than regular requests but reward 75 Renown each — the best Renown-per-quest in the game.
Heart Quests
Character-specific quests that unlock as you build friendship. Usually arrive by mail. Reward friendship progress and sometimes unique items.
Story Quests
The main town-repair chain (unlocking the Mines, repairing the Mill etc). Most begin by talking to Adeline or arriving by mail. Reward Renown and unlock town features. Covered in our Town Upgrades guide.

Crown Requests: The Best Renown Source
Crown Requests are the most important quests to prioritise once you unlock them. They appear on the Request Board once per week after reaching Town Rank Level 50 (Sapphire), and each completed Crown Request rewards 75 Renown — far more than a standard request, which gives around 20 Renown.
They require a bit more effort (usually more specific or harder-to-get items), but the Renown-per-quest ratio is unmatched. Never let a Crown Request expire unfulfilled. If you can't complete it that week, still check whether you can gather the items quickly — the effort is almost always worth it.
To unlock Crown Requests, raise your Town Rank to Sapphire (Renown 50) by completing regular requests, donating to the Museum and shipping items.
What to Do When You Can't Find an Item
The most frustrating moment with requests is accepting one and then realising the required item is out of season. Here's how to handle it:
- Check Balor's Wagon — the travelling merchant north of your farm sometimes stocks seasonal items outside their normal window. It's the first place to look if you're missing a forageable or crop.
- Hold the quest — since there's no time limit once a request is accepted, you can sit on it until the next season comes around. No penalty.
- Check your storage — you may have the item already. Fish, crops, forageables and monster drops you've been stockpiling are often exactly what's needed.
- Ship the quest-reward items too — any items you receive as rewards from other quests are fair game to ship for extra Renown.
Top Tips for the Request Board
- Check the board and mailbox every single morning — before farming, before anything. Quests rotate daily and you don't want to miss them.
- Stack activities — do your daily foraging route with requests in mind. Picking up everything you see often covers the day's requests without any extra effort.
- Prioritise Crown Requests at 75 Renown each — complete them before regular requests when both are available.
- Accept everything — since there's no time limit, hoovering up every available request gives you a pool to work through at your own pace.
- Ship quest rewards — any items you receive as rewards count toward Renown when shipped, so put them in the bin.
- Keep a forageable stockpile — wild berries, mushrooms, herbs and flowers cover a huge proportion of all requests, so never throw them away.
- Use the map — NPC locations are tracked in real time on the map, so you can always find the character a quest needs you to talk to.
